North Park Festivals and Fairs

St Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade

st pattys15th of March, throw something green on and come celebrate the wonderful Irish traditions and spirit with beer, music, food and dancing with the local leprechauns.

Starting at 9am going all the way until 6pm the festival is the place to be to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, running in conjunction with the StPatrick’s Day parade starting at 10:30am at corner of 6th Avenue and Juniper Street.

Rolando Street Fair

On the 30th March and getting started at 10am to 6pm on Rolando Blvd.  Come down with your kids and enjoy some carnival rides, great food and drinks, live music and lots of activities just for the kids.

  • Ocean Beach Farmers Market held every Wednesday 4 – 8pm on Newport Ave in the Starbucks Parking lot.
  • Pacific Beach Farmers Market held every Tuesday 2 – 7pm on Bayard Street.
  • North Park Farmers Markets held every Thursday 3 – 7pm on Herman Avenue in the CVS parking lot.
  • Herman Avenue Farmers Market held every Sunday 9 – 2pm in the DMV parking lot.

Charity Events

Colon Cancer Alliance Undy 5000 5k walk/run

On the 8th March come and join medical personnel and others to help raise awareness of Colon screening and early detection.   9:30 – 10:30 am at East Mission Bay, De Anza Cove on the Hilton Walkway.

Uncorking for a CURE and drinking hops for HOPE fundraiser

March 13th at Jake’s on 6th Wine Bar.  Special drink deals and great food in a fundraiser to help ride around Lake Tahoe in the quest to help find a cure for cancer.  15% of all sales will go to the cause and a bunch of raffle prizes being given away including massages, boxing classes, wine and cheese baskets and much more.

bootSan Diego Countywide Firefighter Boot drive

13th March this one day fundraiser will be done during commuting hours and will be at all major intersections with firefighters collecting money in their boots.   Proceeds will go to the Burn Institute to help support burn survivors, burn treatment research and prevention education.

Breakfast fundraiser for San Diego Seniors

Meals on wheels is hosting a fundraiser on the 15th March at Applebees, 3030 Plaza Bonita Road in National City.  From 8 – 10am please come and join in the effort to support our senior neighbors and create a stronger, healthier community.  The 12th annual march for meals campaign will donate 50% of the proceeds to the meals on wheels programs in the greater San Diego region.

PAWS Happy Hour

25th March at the Coronado Firehouse Grill and Bar, come down for happy hour and enjoy some great company with your pups.  Pacific Animal Welfare Society of Coronado in conjunction with the Firehouse Grill and Bar will put on the happy hour and proceed 10% of its earnings to the organization and it’s efforts to help and protect our local animals.
